GETTING TO KNOW YOUR FLASHCAM-880WF+

An operations manual is included with every FlashCAM. The FlashCAM-880WF+ has three modes, each engaged by pointing the remote Key Fob directly at the front of the FlashCAM and depressing the control button.

The Operation Mode is used to set the FlashCAM into one of four different functions. SENSOR, ARM, DAY ARM & DISARM. A voice message reports the mode each time the Key Fob controller button is pressed.
The Download Mode is accessed by depressing the Key Fob for 5 seconds. When the button is released, you will hear a single beep follow by a Long - long - short beep sequence. This allows images from FlashCAM to be downloaded wirelessly via the software programme supplied with the unit.
The Setup & Test Mode allows the system to be aimed and tested during installation. After the First beep in download mode, again depressing the Key Fob for 5 seconds will access this mode. When the button is released, a Long - short - long beep sequence is heard confirming this mode has been accessed. The functions are: DAY-NIGHT TEST, WALK TEST, TOTAL SYSTEM TEST, CAMERA TURN ON 1 - MANUAL, CAMERA TURN ON 2 - AUTOMATIC.

Camera Zoom The best strategy for taking advantage of the high resolution is to use the lowest zoom setting possible to cover the largest area. Licence Exposure Mode The FlashCAM has a special feature that enables it to capture vehicle licence numbers. In this mode an additional Fast lens speed photo allows the system sensor on the digital camera to capture the licence number plate when taking photos at night - at over 75m.
